16 Months Old

Jack is now 16 months old and only a couple months shy of being 1 1/2! He is learning more every day and it is so fun to watch him explore.

At 16 months Jack:
* is walking! He even stands up in the middle of the room all by himself.
*loves to read books
*loves to watch Mickey Mouse
*tries to repeat what we say
*likes to be chased
*will go to his bed and get his blanket and pacifier when he is tired and ready for a nap
* loves to be outside
*has an attitude and knows what he wants
*shakes his head yes and no
*loves to show us his muscles...he thinks he is pretty funny when he does it. We think so too!
*Is the love our life and going to be a big brother in a few short weeks :)

Here are some pictures of Jack's Big Brother room. He has adjusted very well. Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa DeWild for painting the room, Aunt Rhonda for helping get all the decor, and Molly for helping me to arrange the room and hang the decorations.

Here is a little video I took of Jack yesterday. My mom and Aunt Rhonda got him a book that had a flashlight with it. He was carrying it all over yesterday and if you watch closely, you can see him hold it up to his ear as if he is talking on the phone with it. Love him!
