Oh Summer Vacation, where have you gone? It's hard to believe but this was my last week of summer vacation. Although we don't officially start back to school until August 15th, I am going to be teaching Summer School starting on Monday, August 1st. The good thing about summer school is that it is just in the mornings. It is actually a great way to get back into the swing of the school schedule.
Since this was my last full week of Summer Vacation, Jack and I made sure to spend it wisely. We had a great week and a lot of fun together. Here are some pictures of some of the things we did.

Last night we had some fun in the bathtub with bubbles.
We went to 'A Night on Main Street' last night for the final time this summer. It is held in the Ames downtown area and they have some sort of live music and activities for the kids to do. We usually take a picnic supper and meet the Barbers for some fun.

Here Jack is playing with some chalk.

He needs a new piece :)

We also had lots of play time and a little time to watch Mickey Mouse :)

I spoiled Jack one morning with powdered donuts for breakfast. Let's just say he loved them!
On Wednesday this week, we went to the wading pool in Ames. It was a perfect day!
Jack eating some lunch at the pool.
Playing in the water.
Throwing the ball to mommy.
On a side note, our little Jack is now 14 months! That is so hard to believe but he is learning so much every day. Here are a few of the new things he likes to do:
*Loves to play catch
*Wants to be chased after
*Got another tooth on top (I can feel 3 more coming). We now have a total of 9.
*Throws his pacifier back in his bed in the morning or after nap time because he knows that those are the only times that he gets it...however, he will also crawl to his room and get it if he feels like it and then give you a little smile that says, "I know I'm not supposed to have this, but please?"
*Loves to drive his cars around on the floor.
*Says please for everything.
*Loves to walk behind things and around furniture but still isn't confident enough to take steps by himself.
