4th of July Weekend

We had a great 4th of July Weekend. It all started with Lyle not having to work on Saturday.
That meant that Jack and I got Lyle all to ourselves for the whole day! (That hasn't happened in a long time. He is a very busy man) We spent Saturday going for a walk, cleaning out my car, golfing, and a great supper outside on our deck. We finished off our evening with some ice cream from Cold Stone!

Are you having fun?!

We headed to Storm Lake on Sunday after church. We spent the day with Josh and Megan Barber and Megan's parents. Jack had a lot of fun playing with Keatin. On Monday, the 4th, Lyle and Megan participated in the Ride/Run around Storm Lake. It was fun to cheer them on as they finished. We then got to watch a parade. Jack loved it! He sat on mine or Lyle's lap the whole time and kept pointing at everything that went by.

We tried to catch a picture of Keatin and Jack in their 4th of July outfits.

Keating pushing Jack on the swing. I think Keatin may have pushed him for 20 minutes. They were both loving it.

Jack and Keatin playing with chalk.

After all that playing, Jack had a little catnap on the swing before supper.

Jack and Keatin playing with the fridge magnets.

I think Jack figured out how they work!

Can you tell he likes it?!

Overall, it was a wonderful and very fun weekend to spend together as a family. I hope you all had a great 4th of July as well!
