Great News!! We were able to come home from the hospital this afternoon. Reid was able to keep his oxygen levels up through the night last night and didn't require any extra oxygen. They tell me he is pretty wheezy but it is also pretty loose and he is doing a great job at coughing and clearing it all out. We have to continue the breathing treatments at home and go in for another check-up tomorrow.
This is a picture of Reid waiting to see if he gets to go home. You should have seen the little smile on his face when the nurse started taking off his IV. I thought he would cry when she took the tape off but instead he smiled and cooed at the nurse the whole time. It was so cute. I think he was relieved.
That little smile shows how happy he was to be coming home.
Thank you for all your prayers. We were so happy to come home but we still have a ways to go to get Reid well and over his RSV (They retested and confirmed that it was RSV). Continue to pray for healing for our little man.
